The ambiguity caused because of the sound "r" that Demir couldn't pronounce.
Demir: Dad, I want "ayi" (he meant "ari". It means "bee" and "ayi" means "bear" in Turkish)
Dad: Here is the bear.
Demir: No dad, not bear, I mean "bee". They make honey you know...
Dad: OK, I see.

Demir: Dad, I think I have run out of battery. Please change my battery.

(traditional Turkish dessert) (While we were watching TV at 10:00 p.m, Demir suddenly said "I want baklava" and started to cry. There was no image of baklava around or any words about baklava 
.  We tried to persuade him by  "Son, how can we find baklava now? we can buy it tomorrow, do you want candy instead?” but he kept saying "I want baklava"  In the end, we persuaded him by giving a waffle and we solved the global baklava crisis)
